Voyager 8200

Hi, I am using the Voyager 8200 with the bt700 adapter. When the headset is in streaming mode, I can switch off OpenMic using the mute button. When the microphone is used, the headset switches to talk mode. OpenMic is automatically switched on (I notice this by a slight echo when I speak). How can I switch off Open Mic in talk mode?

The headset also switches to mono sound in talk mode. Is there a way to get this in stereo?

Hello, @Tulpafred, and welcome to the HP Poly community.

I am sorry to hear that you are facing this issue with the Poly Voyager 8200 UC.

1. Could you please check and see if OpenMic is on by pressing the red mute button when you are not on a call. Our exclusive OpenMic feature lets you control the level of ambient noise you hear.

2. Your headset is configured for optimal performance during conference calls. Stereo telephony is on by default. To increase Bluetooth density, change the setting by going to Poly Lens Desktop App>Settings > Wireless > Extended Range Mode.

Regards,
Meghana
