Poly V5200 Headset

Windows 11

Looking for older firmware to install. Is this available anymore? Used to be on the old website before HP took over.

Previous Firmware 510 worked great. Decided to update to latest 517.  It connects, but now windows no longer detects as input/output device. Tested with someone else's v5200 with the older firmware 510 and it still connects as mic/audio. Other Bluetooth earbuds works as well. I'm assuming the firmware broke it.  Any place I can still download the older firmware?

Dongle not an option. Not enough USB ports available.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @JJackJones, Welcome to Poly HP Support Community.

I’m sorry to hear about the difficulties you're experiencing with your Voyager 5200 headset. I understand how essential it is for your headset to be functioning properly, and I’m here to assist you in resolving the issue. Please follow these troubleshooting steps to help diagnose and potentially resolve the problem:

1. Ensure that the headset is set as the default device in both your PC's sound settings and your softphone application.

2. Please perform a reset on the headset using the Poly Lens application on your PC.

3. Test the headset with the USB dongle, as the headset may not function optimally without it.

4. If possible, try connecting the headset to a different PC to help isolate whether the issue is with the headset or your current setup.

5. Make sure that your PC’s Bluetooth drivers are up to date.

If the issue still persists, I would request you contact our HP Support, and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link.

I have the same issue.  I use ms-teams for conferencing on a windows 11 pc. I reinstalled the software and updated the device. My headset is recognized as default audio for output but for input the mic is not showing up at all. I tried to "add a device" but I can't find it either. Please help me get my mic reconnecting.
