Hello
I purchased a new Poly Voyager 5200 UC headset. When the headset and charging case are fully charged, I put the headset into the case and put the case in my backpack. 1 week later, the case battery is depleted, but the headset remained fully charged. So the charging case battery depleted while stored and not in use. Has any one else encountered this problem? Please advise if you have found a solution.
I tried to engage HP Support for assistance. The HP Support Chat form has a non-functional submit button, so I can't start a chat session with HP Support. When I contact HP Support via phone, the support reps will listen to me for some time and then they hang up the phone. So HP Support does not help me at all. That's why I come to this community forum.
It seems to be the same problem described in this thread:

I found the solution. It was from a reddit user. Link here

They said to downgrade the charging case firmware to version 3121. I did some research on this and this issue is mentioned as resolved in the release notes for version 3121 on the poly website.
It's odd that the issue is present in later firmware versions. So if you have 3121 and you upgrade to a later version, then you will have this issue. Best to stick with 3121 and not do any updates I guess.

Hello, @aquaxrunner Welcome to the HP Poly Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query.
I am really sorry for the inconvenience caused to you with our technical support team as well as the device.
Could you please try charging the case with any other cable and also try charging for a bit longer than usual to check if the charging case holds the charge?
I hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance. If you find the information provided useful or solves your problems, help other users find the solution more easily by giving Kudos/Thumbs Up and marking my post as an Accepted Solution.
