Voyager 5200 series Bluetooth ear-piece. Starting aprx 2/5/2024 while connected to both phones, the 5200 suddenly starts to pair (uncommanded). Turning 5200 off-on does not stop the behavior: works fine, then unexpected pairing begins again.  (note that at one time the earpiece tried to re-call a recent call.)  Firmware updated to current. Acts as if button is stuck and randomly (usually while driving hands-free) decides to complete contact.  Unable to contact support for this issue.

Hello, @Jeffcbates and welcome to the HP Poly community.
I am sorry to hear that you are facing this issue with the Poly Voyager 5200
Could you please follow a few troubleshooting steps mentioned below and let us know if the issue persists?
1. Could you please try it with a different mobile phone or a PC?
2. Could you please clear the trusted devices in the settings in the Poly Lens application and pair the headset once again with the PC or mobile phone and check?
3. Could you please restore the headset settings to default on the Poly Lens application by connecting the headset to the PC? Once done, please switch off and switch on the headset again to save the changes made.
4. Could you please confirm if the provided USB dongle is connected to the PC?

Regards,
Meghana

Thanks Meghana.  I tried your suggestions and they were unsuccessful.  Note that my configuration doesn't involve a PC, only 2 iPhones (both with current iOS).   The Poly Voyager 5200 series also did not come with a USB dongle.   With the headset connected to my phone (one phone) and using the Poly app, I went into settings and chose "clear trusted devices" and restarted the headset.   I also had both phones (Bluetooth) "forget" the Poly Voyager 5200 headset.   Then re-paired the headset and tested.   After about 4 minutes or so the headset started to re-dial the last dialed number.   Shutting off then on the headset stopped the redial, but then the headset wanted to "pair" again (it was paired to 2 devices - the max -already).  Next, going back to the app I reset the device.   Still had the phones "forget" the paring and re-paired the headset, this time to only one phone.   It wasn't even a full minute and the headset - on it's own - wanted to re-pair.   Also note that none of these dial or paring operations were initiated by me, the device tried this on it's own.

Hope that helps with diagnosis.
