Poly v5200
Android 9.0 Pie

When I turn the headset on, normally you get I formed of how much talk time remains on the unit. All I get is dead air, no sound and the unit will not charge via the base or via the micro USB cable. When plugged directly into the v5200 headset it has a  continuous blinking blue led with no pauses on blinking. When I turn the unit on while the charging cable is plugged into the unit, it has a continuous purple blinking led. What is wrong with this headset?

Hi @Jsclvrt Welcome to Poly HP Support Community.

I understand you're experiencing issues with your headset. Please follow the troubleshooting steps below and test the headset:

1. Connect the headset to your PC using a USB cable.
2. Open the Poly Lens application. If the headset is recognized, verify and update the headset's firmware.
3. Disable or reset the headset sensors through the Poly Lens application.
4. Perform a reset of the headset using the Poly Lens application.

If the issue still persists, I would request you contact our HP Support, and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link.
