Voyager Surround 85 M UC USB-C

Hello!

I am a new owner of headphones Poly Voyager Surround 85. I have a problem with them that irritates me terribly. I have ANC turned off, but when I talk to someone I hear my voice and the voices of the surroundings in a very unnatural way. Does anyone have a similar problem? It's similar when I breathe. I can hear my breathing in my headphones, it's whistling. It really bothers me and annoys me during conversations. Likewise, when I type on the keyboard or click with the mouse, I can hear the sound of the keyboard and clicking so unnaturally. Is there a way to turn this crap off? I've checked all the options and nothing works. When I turn the microphone off, everything goes back to normal, but as soon as I have the microphone on, the ambient sounds and my own voice sound terrible.

In addition, my interlocutors report that they can hear literally everything I do. They can hear every click of the mouse. Every keystroke on the keyboard. Tragic. Headphones for so much money and they work worse than the cheapest Chinese headphones for a few dollars.

Hi @Lukas80, Welcome to Poly HP Support Community.

I’m really sorry to hear that you’re facing some challenges with the Voyager Surround 85. I completely understand how important it is to have your headset working smoothly.

I request you to try a few troubleshooting steps and test the headset:

  1. First, please check and update the headset’s firmware using the Poly Lens application on your PC. This often helps improve performance.
  2. If Transparency Mode is enabled, try disabling it through the Poly Lens application—it could make a positive impact on the headset’s functionality.
  3. Ensure the headset is set as the default audio device for both your PC and softphone to make sure everything is set up properly.
  4. Finally, resetting the headset using the Poly Lens application can often help refresh things and resolve any issues.

If the issue still persists, I would request you contact our HP Support, and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link.
