I have never had a firmware up/downgrade fail on me but I've only done it a few times.

 

The only thing I would note is that there is the production and then the _SHORTENED firmware. I always choose the larger one (not the shortened one).

 

Also my firmware was for the 02E6 hardware. You have to make sure your firmware matches the hardware. If it already does then yeah - maybe something's wrong with the actual BT700 itself.

 

It would be nice if they simply FIX THE ISSUE so I can use my BT700.

 

The v550 firmware randomly 'disconnects' after getting off of a call (as if it's ejected from Windows). Better than randomly being MUTED but also still buggy.

 

Hopefully they release a new firmware to fix their consistently buggy issues.
