MacBook Air M1, connected via BT700

Samsung Galaxy S20FE, connected via Bluetooth

Whenever I end a call on MS Teams, Apple Music is launched and starts playing music. I would have thought it was a MacOS problem, but, if my smartphone is also connected to the headset, whenever I end the call on MacBook, Apple Music starts playing music on my phone. This is supremely annoying, especially since there is no settings in Poly Lens that controls this behaviour.

Has anyone stumbled upon this issue as well?

Hello, @andreib246, and welcome to the HP Poly community.

I am sorry to hear that you are facing this issue with the Poly Voyager 4320.

Could you please follow a few troubleshooting steps mentioned below and let us know if the issue persists?

1. Could you please try it with a different mobile phone or a PC?
2. Could you please restore the headset settings to default on the Poly Lens application by connecting the headset to the PC? Once done, please switch off and switch on the headset again to save the changes made.
3. Could you please confirm if the provided USB dongle is connected to the PC?
4. Could you please set the headset as the default in the sound settings of the PC?
5. Could you please go to the Poly Lens application and clear all the trusted devices in the settings menu, then re-pair the headset once again and check if the issue still persists?

Regards

Hi @Meghana_10,

2. Could you please restore the headset settings to default on the Poly Lens application by connecting the headset to the PC? Once done, please switch off and switch on the headset again to save the changes made.

-> done that but, unfortunately, the issue persists

3. Could you please confirm if the provided USB dongle is connected to the PC?

-> yes, I confirm that the BT700 USB adapter is plugged into an Anker adaptor which is plugged into the MacBook

4. Could you please set the headset as the default in the sound settings of the PC?

-> when connected, the headset is the default device

I will try suggestion #1 soon. Also, I am not sure how to do what you suggested under #6. Could you please offer more precise steps to follow?
