The headset connects to the computer via a cable, you can change the language, the software update has been completed. But when you try to connect to the phone, nothing happens. If you press and hold the call button, the sensor does not light up and the word pairing does not sound.

Hello @vlodko_lviv, Welcome to the HP Poly Support Community.

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the Poly Voyager 5200 UC.

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution. We hope our assistance has been helpful!

To help us get started on resolving your issue, could you please try a few troubleshooting steps provided below so that I can assist you further?

1. Could you please pair the headset to the mobile phone and PC by following the provided steps below?

Pair to mobile device:

1. To put your headset in pair mode, press the Call button until you hear "pairing" and the headset LEDs flash blue and red
2. Activate Bluetooth on your phone and set it to search for new devices.
iPhone Settings > Bluetooth > On*
● Android Settings > Bluetooth on > Scan for devices

3. Select “Poly V5200 Series.”
Once successfully paired, you hear “pairing successful,” and the headset LEDs stop flashing.

Connect and pair to PC:

Your Bluetooth USB adapter comes pre-paired to your headset
1. Turn on your headset and insert the Bluetooth USB adapter into your laptop or PC.
2. The USB adapter LED flashes and then turns solid to indicate the headset is connected to the USB adapter. If you are wearing your headset, you hear “PC connected” to indicate the connection has been established. When on a call, the LED on the USB adapter flashes blue. When not on a call, the LED is solid.
3. Load the Poly Lens Desktop App by visiting poly.com/lens. This allows you to customize your headset behavior through advanced settings and options.

2. Could you please configure the headset by following the steps provided below?

Configure USB adapter:

Your high-fidelity Bluetooth USB adapter comes ready to take calls. If you want to listen to music, you will need to configure your Bluetooth USB adapter.

Windows:

1. To configure your Bluetooth USB adapter to play music, go to Start menu > Control Panel > Sound > Playback tab. Select Poly BT700. Set it as the default device and click OK.
2. To pause music when you place or receive calls, go to Start menu > Control Panel > Sound > Communications tab and select the desired parameter.

Mac:

1. To configure the Bluetooth USB adapter, go to Apple menu > System Preferences > Sound.
On both the Input and Output tabs, select Poly BT700.

You didn't read what I wrote: THE HEADSET DOES NOT RESPOND TO THE CALL BUTTON!

First, I installed the Poly Lens program, connected the headset with a cable, updated the firmware, went into settings, and selected factory reset. But all this did not work, the headset does not respond to the call buttonIn addition, when it was off, I tried pressing the call button to reset the settings, but nothing happened.

Thank you so much for your response, @vlodko_lviv

Could you please try a few troubleshooting steps provided below to reset the headset and sensors so that I can assist you further?

1. To restore your Poly Voyager 5200 headset to its factory default settings, follow these steps:

  1. Connect your device: Ensure your headset is connected to your phone.
  2. Launch Poly Lens Mobile: Open the Poly Lens Mobile app on your device.
  3. Access device settings:
    • From the device screen in the app, select the Settings option.
  4. Reset Device:
    • Navigate to Settings > Reset Device.
    • Select Restore to initiate the factory reset.

2. Reset sensors:

• Wearing the headset, tap the Call button to test sensors. A talk-time voice alert means sensors are working. A tone or lack of voice prompt means sensors need to be reset.
• To reset the sensors, power on the headset, connect the headset to a USB cable, and plug the cable into your computer's USB port or an AC wall adapter (not included). Then place the headset on a flat, non-metallic surface for more than 10 seconds.
• If you don't have your charging cable available, you can also reset your sensors by first turning off the headset, then pressing and holding the Call and Mute buttons simultaneously until the LED turns off. Then put on your headset and turn it on.

Take care and have an amazing day!
