If you're experiencing issues with connecting your Bluetooth headsets or earbuds, such as the TWS989 model, to a device due to missing drivers, the following steps can help resolve the issue:

 

Install Latest Drivers:

  • Ensure that you have the latest Bluetooth drivers installed on your device.
  • Visit the official HP support page for drivers and updates.

Update Firmware:

  • Make sure your TWS989 headset or earbuds firmware is up-to-date.
  • Firmware updates often resolve compatibility and connectivity issues.

Check Bluetooth settings:

  • Verify that Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
  • Ensure your TWS989 headset is in pairing mode.

Restart Devices:

  • Turn off both the headset and the device you are trying to connect.
  • Restart both devices and try pairing again.

Remove and Re-Pair Device:

  • Remove the TWS989 headset from the Bluetooth device list.
  • Initiate the pairing process again per the manual instructions.

Clear Bluetooth Cache:

  • For Windows devices, use the Device Manager to uninstall the Bluetooth driver, then restart your computer to reinstall the driver.
