Microsoft Windows 11
Dear Plantronics, I have Plantronics - Voyager 8200 UC and I used to love it, the latest firmware update has broken the mute button, it no longer functions properly,
When I am using skype and turn on mute, I cannot turn mute off, it automatically mutes back. No matter how many times I press to turn mute off, it says "mute off" and right away says "mute on" and I am stuck in this forever loop and cannot un-mute. I would like to go back to the previous version of Firmware, whatever it was.
This current version is buggy. I have uninstalled the **bleep** Lens program and still the issue persists, i wish i had never "updated"

Please help! as this so called update broke an otherwise excellent product.
I use the mute button feature regularly on a daily basis for work.

HELP!

Hi,
Welcome to HP Poly Community!

Please follow the troubleshooting steps that could resolve the issue:

  • Set the headset as the default audio source in under PC sound settings.
  • Set your target phone by going to Poly Lens Desktop App > Softphones > Software Settings > Target Softphone
  • Reset sensors:
To reset the headset sensors, connect it directly to your computer's USB port, and place it, with the ear cups up, on a flat, non-metallic surface for more than 10 seconds.

If the above steps do not fix the issue, then I would request you contact our HP Support, and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link.
