Microsoft Windows 11

Hi, my partner was given a 15-e2000 2J4V9AV for work but we require two external displays to be used.. I have a HP G5 dock already for my own laptop which works no issues, however connecting hers via the USB-C to G5 will not allow the two monitors to project whatsoever.

I have updated the G5 drivers.

Does this laptop support this dock and if not how do I /can I get two monitors to work on the 15-e2000 (it only has one HDMI out and no other ports exc 1xUSB-C and two USB2.

Thanks in advance.

Your machine could be one of the following machines

              https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-15.6-inch-laptop-pc-15-e2000/2100372089/model/2100376551/pro...

For example:     HP Laptop 15s-eq2013AU

It ONLY has 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to

  • Charge your machine,
  • Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter

If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only), you can use

     Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,

Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as

                                    USB to HDMI Adapter

For more connectivity, please use

                         True Universal Docking Stations

Regards.
