Depends on ram etc. I would ask your daughter to buy and install a new ssd as well (plus win 10 clean install on the new ssd). On a old hard disc your data are in danger. The graphics of the dv 9000 seems to be a bit more powerful. Plus there are drivers for win 10 (for the graphics).
By the way: they are no business machines, but cheap consumer machines
