Elitebook 835 g7
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I’m trying to install the second SSD to the 2242 m2 slot. The SSD is WD SN520. I can see it in BIOS and pass HW test in HP diagnose tool. But I can’t see the SSD when boot in Windows 10. Not in device manager nor disk management. Any idea?

Hello

do you mean you have installed a M.2 2242 in the slot where HP install the optional LTE card ?

It could be that the BIOS or the hardware is not supporting an SSD in that slot.

bye

The Elitebook 835 G7 supports a single M.2 NVME SSD... the other M.2 slots are for the Wifi (should already be there) and for an LTE/WWAN card
