The minimum screen brightness on the HP Elitebook 860 g11 400 nits IPS FHD is too high, even if I set it to the lowest settting through windows.
I have used both the 840 g9 400 nits IPS FHD and the 840 g10 500nits IPS QHD and they can both go dimmer in the lowest setting.
What is the minimum brightness of the monitor of the 860 g11 400 nits and if it is higher than the others why isn't it listed in laptop specs? The laptop screen is too bright to use in a dimly lit room.
Also the ambient light sensor does not seem to work properly as it can only go 50% higher than the manual windows setting and no higher no matter how sunny the room is and it won't go lower no matter how dark the room is. If I disable and reenable the adaptive brightness through windows settings it then defaults to 40% brightness and won't go any lower again. in both the other laptops the adaptive brightness option can use all the brightness range.
