Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if this driver installs that device:

You're very welcome.

There is only one other thing I can think of for you to try and that is to see if manually installing the driver from the device in the device manager works.

To do that, go to the device manager.

Click on the keyboard filter device needing the driver.

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update driver.

Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.

That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp145069.

Make sure that the Include subfolders box is checked and see if the driver will install that way.

That file is a driver for the keyboard filter as you can see from this partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file...

Hi PAUL

last year I was facing the following issue

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Business-Notebooks/A87C2E0F-9A46-46b8-8EC4-E33355FBE1F7-KeyboardFilter...

with following hardware id error

" {A87C2E0F-9A46-46b8-8EC4-E33355FBE1F7}\KeyboardFilter"

Now I have solved this issue by deleting the standard HP keyboard 102 key driver (incl deleting software option)

then i restart my HP Probook 450 G3

now my device manager showed the Standard PS/2 Keyboard driver and removed the Keyboard filter driver in other devices

Finally my issue is resolved

I would recommend you to rectify HP keyboard driver that generates that keyboardfilter device driver issue in other devices

P.S. Sorry for posting this keyboard issue here as you have locked my original post as mentioned above. You can incorporate my above mentioned solution in my original post so that other can have benefit from that solution.
