Hello,

i recently tried to refresh my notebook with a clean installation of windows 10 build 1903.

 

Almost done. The only thing missing is the graphics driver.  Everytime i try to install a driver i get a black screen.

I tried HP drivers, ALL. Also AMD Catalyst or adrenalin. And finally also the Windows update tries to download the drivers but false everytime with black screen. Removed driver several times with ddu. Nothing works. I also copied the driver from my rcent build 1809 with double driver.

Google says there will be comoatible drivers for build 1903. 

Can anybody help? Thanks!

Hi,

 

I apparently managed to get this working by using the AMD Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.7.1 installation package.

Just to be 100% sure I installed Windows 10 in offline mode to avoid Windows loading wrong drivers via the Internet connection.

 

R5 driver version (according to Windows) is 26.20.13001.9005 dated 2019-07-04
