While I'm waiting for the upgrade to Windows 11 to magically become available, I couldn't help but notice that the update to the AMD chipset driver that fixes the problems with Windows 11 is not offered by the support page, and indeed, it's been a year since these drivers have been updated and the version doesn't match the official ones. I'd like to have a clarification, especially in anticipation of the upgrade to Windows 11.

Hi:
I used the chipset drivers directly from AMD on my HP notebook with a Ryzen 4500U processor...
Release date of Oct 21, 2021...
AMD Ryzen™ and Athlon™ Mobile (Chipset) Drivers & Support | AMD
Also, you don't have to wait for Microsoft to push the W11 update to your PC.
You can click on the blue W11 Installation Assistant button at the link below (1st option)...and upgrade to W11 today.

Thanks a lot for your help.
Since the versions didn't match, I was afraid that the HP driver was custom, and I didn't want to break the company PC.
It installed without any problems 🙂
This gives me even more reasons to wonder why OEM support is so sloppy, to say the least. As if these machines were cheap!

You're very welcome.
I used the AMD W11 graphics drivers too, but I had to run the Hide Windows Update utility to prevent Windows from installing an older driver.
If you want to do that as well, I have zipped up and attached the hide windows update utility below.
Use the AMD graphics auto detect tool...to install the graphics driver. I guess you can skip installing the chipset driver.
AMD Drivers and Support for Radeon, Radeon Pro, FirePro, APU, CPU, Ryzen, desktops, laptops
I'm surprised that HP now includes the AMD chipset drivers on the newer models with the AMD chipsets.
It's about time.
You used to always have to go to AMD's website to get them.
