I have a Probook 450 G4 which I want to backup and restore. I have purchased copy of Acronis True Image 2021 and successfully backed up Entire PC. Whilst I am able to drill down and restore individual folders and files when I try to restore the Entire PC I encounter an issue in that Error 0x1480008 occurs. This is when trying to restore from within ATI in Windows. When I try and restore usable ATI Bootable Media I encounter a different message which is telling me that I have attempted to access a Null Reference.
I have been in web chat with ATI support who have had me go through various attempts, which included both WinPE and Linux based Rescue Media. They have also suggested I disable Secure Boot and enable Legacy Boot. None of this seeems to make any difference as as soon as the laptop has to Restart the errors occur.
ATI Support tell me that this is an issue with Probook security in that it is too secure. The machine does not have Bitlocker enabled. ATI Support have suggested using Acronis Cyber Protect 15 instead. This solution seems to be overkill for my set up. Whilst these are machins used in a business, they are as provided by HP with no alteration to any factory settings.
Can anyone advise why the Probook will not allow ATI to work. Surely, I cannot be the only person to use a Probook with ATI.

I'm supprised that they told you to disable secure boot and enable legacy as if you had backed up the full disk then restoring a gpt image to a legacy boot makes no sense.
Did you make a backup of the c drive or the full disk?
