EliteBook 9480m
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP EliteBook Folio 9480m Just upgraded to newly available BIOS. When I lock my screen for privacy, all my apps are closed when I log back into the computer. What I have tried so far: 1) updated display driver 2) changed sleep/hibernation settings  These changes have not helped. Do I need to roll the system back to the old BIOS? Never had an issue previously. Thanks, in advance, for your help.

This problem is solved. The reason for this laptop's bad behavior was due to a bad stick of RAM. Replaced the RAM and the problem is gone.
