To clear things out, the blue icon shown is a soft keyboard that can be popped on touch enabled laptops, like the x2 and x360 models... i am not sure why the elitebook 840 g5 would show the keyboard icon but try to update to the latest 1.04 BIOS 

 

The soft keyboard icon does not impact anything other than visually and iis there to support access to the BIOS when in 'tablet' mode, which the 840 G5 does not need since the keyboard is always present
