Hello, 

As I was typing this I did some more research and turns out monitor has no speakers! Hahaha but  it has headphone  output.  I will test those tomorrow.  

 

So that would explain no sound 😂😂

can you provide information on the platform you use to connect to the dock, the OS version, and which monitor you are using, including connectivity from the monitor to the dock... If this is an HP commercial platform, i would make sure you use HP Image Assistant and update the BIOS and all drivers it suggest...
