Me and many people notice that in 3 years hp hasn't fixed the awful fan curve with their bios updates. The fan turns on at like 50% speed at 45'c, which is way too high. All other laptops turn their fan at minimum speed at 70-90'c not 45'c. Fix this thing HP.

It would help if you included your OS version and build,  plus the BIOS version in your next post to your thread. 

Not having those valuable bits of information puts me not in the know.

 

What is the power setting in your Windows OS? Is it in Performance mode?

 

Had you considered using a cooling stand for your laptop?

If the temperature is kept down, and your laptop is set to other than Performance mode, the fans may not be an issue.

 

For laptop in the 13-14" category you should expect the cooling fans to respond to a ▲T that is lower than with larger laptop PCs.  The smaller dimensions of the laptop enclosure and the high performance processor requires that.
