Operating System: Linux

HP ProBook 7470b. I installed Linux Mint on the computer and the installation was successful. The computer runs on Linux USB. The computer does not boot from the HD. Problem with the BIOS. I cannot remove the BIOS password. I have tried to reset the BIOS by removing the CMOS battery. This did not help. I have tried to contact HP support. Support does not recognize the serial number. Support cannot be accessed without the serial number.
