So yes, im well aware HP doesnt care that ive forgotten the BIOS admin password... im still not buying a new motherboard because i think its rude 😛 but is there any way to update the BIOS without it? My laptop is getting kinda clunky and ive been staring at the red "!" on the HP care page for to long. Ive tried the update before but it prompts for password and god knows what i set that too bahaha

Hello.
Short answer is no. You can't override the password.
I recommend hunting for a broken x360 1030 G2 with the system board intact. Afterwards you can try selling your old system board to minimise your monetary losses.
If you are really, REALLY proficient at small electronics repairs you could desolder the BIOS chip and reprogram it in a programmer.
