Product: EliteBook 840 G1
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

As part of my companys effort to secure our infrastructure we need to deploy BIOS upgrades. Since HP is delivering these updates as a SCUP catalog this is not too hard. However: BIOS upgrades for some models (say EliteBook 840 G3) contains a new version of HPBIOSUPDREC (version 1.1.36.1, dated 08-09-2018). This version supports a commandline option to suspend BitLocker (-b). Older versions, such as 1.0.18.1 dated 07-08-2013 used for EliteBook 820 G1 does not seem to have this option.
So I would ask if this is by design or something we can expect will change.
Thanks
Lars Norman Søndergaard
