Product: HP EliteBook 840 G8 Notebook PC (26D60AV)
Some time ago my Elitebook 840G8 updated the BIOS to 1.14.0 somehow by itself.
Since then there is a BIOS setting "start when open the lid", and the PC is always power on when I open the lid.
But if I disable this BIOS setting, the behavior does NOT change.
No matter if enabled or disabled, the PC is always powering on when the lid is opened.
Why that?
