Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey guys,

If i do a:

HpFirmwareUpdRec64.exe -s -b .

Does the utility automatically check for the required SysID en BIOS-type and being able to succesfully update the BIOS without specifying a BIN file or folder path?

I've noticed that in SP138947 (for the HP Probook 640/650 G8) there are 2 BIN-files: T72 and T74 specifically.

Hello

HpFirmwareUpdRec64.exe -s -b  will scan the folder where there are *.BIN and *.INF file and use the one compatible with the SYSID.

HpFirmwareUpdRec64.exe will never flash a wrong BIOS as it first checks that binary file is compatible with the motherboard.

Bye
