I've been owning a HP EliteBook 865 G10 notebook since September 2023 and I am really dissatisfied by this notebook. I'd like to share my experience and have a feedback whether I have been quite unlucky or this is a common feeling about owners of this notebook.
Since the beginning the notebook suffered of frequent BSOD up to 4/5 times a day. A so ugly ones, that the BSOD screen appeared for just a second and then the PC rebooted. Windows had no time to produce the memory dump (Windows Event Registry says "it has failed because has failed" 😕 ). So, no hint to troubleshoot it. BSODs happened only when the PC was plugged to AC, and even without any peripheral attached.
HP Support suggested to reinstall Windows, but BSOD remained.
Then HP support replaced the mainboard (really quickly, just 2 days), but BSOD remained. And moreover, after 3 days, the PC did not boot anymore: it turns on, some leds flashes and beeps.
HP said motherboard needs to be changed, again (so, the replaced one was broken?)
But... this time HP needs 1 month to find another motherboard.
So, is there anyone else who has experienced similar issues with G10, AMD based, HP EliteBook?
