Wondering if anyone has compared battery life between UHD/4K and FHD/1080 panels.

This would be for the FHD standard, not the FHD low-power.

On the G5, the battery life was nearly double going from UHD to FHD, going from about 5 hours to about 10 hours.  Wondering if the difference is still as large with the G6 model.

Thanks for any info or experiences to share.

P.S.

Next month the 1040  G7 is supposed to be available, can't help wondering the same question about that model.

You can expect same story because on a notebook/laptop screen is the most power hungry component.  Very simple math:  UHD or 4K screen has 3840 x 2160 lights and FHD only has 1920 x 1080 lights.

Regards.
