Product: HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13-ap0xxx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

1. Once the battery is fully charged and the power is still connected does the battery still gets charged or their is a mechanism that stops charging even if the power is still connected?

2. What is better for the battery life, keeping it connected to the power outlet even when it's fully charged or remove the power use the batter and charge it again?

1. No, both charger and battery now are smart enough to stop when battery is 100% full.
