Good morning,
we have a problem in our company according to some of our 455 G9 notebooks and even the newer G10 versions.
Notebooks are offline for nearly 24 hours or less, disconnected from any power-source and no hardware (headset dongle, etc.) is connected to them.
The notebooks lose while offline from 10 to 15% in this time.
Just in case:
- latest version of Windows 10
- latest updates of drivers and firmware for those devices
- no hibernate, sleep, fast load or what so ever configured for these devices
- no usb-charging while off
- clean and clear battery test
- clean and clear power-supply test
- did a battery reset
We use the same configuration for BIOS/UEFI for all of our notebooks, when and if the functions are available for all of the devices.
Here is the funny part:
A HP 650 G5 from 2019 with the same configuration (for Windows we use group-policies so every notebook receives the same configuration - for BIOS/UEFI we use special checklists that all devices use the same configuration as possible) was offline for 4 weeks and booting this device on it had still 60% of battery.....
I hope someone can help with this issue because i have seen many posts around here according to these kind of issues.
Or is it just a problem according to the battery packs (quality issue)?
Thanks in advance!
