HP ZBook Fury 15 G7 Mobile Workstation (9VS25AV)

Hi, I have a HP ZB15G7,

following a windows 11 failure, I have reinstalled windows and downloaded the softwares/hardware updates using the HP support assistant and the Windows update.

However 2 items fail to be updated:

Whatever I stop antivir to work and I unlock the drivers and partitions (bitlocker stop on 3 drives/partitions)

I receive the  following results:

- HP BIOS and System Firmware (S92) (Failure Code: 259)

 - Ron22690_1-1786377680246.pngRon22690_1-1786377680246.png

- Without passing by the HP assistant, same result

 - Updating directly the bios by making f10 at the PC start => another error message

Could you please let me know how to solve this issue by providing a step by step tutorial?

Thanks in advance for your kind help

Warm regards,

R

Hi @Ron22690

Thank yor for responding.

I understand that you have already attempted to install all the available BIOS updates, but the issue persists. As the next step, I recommend performing a BIOS recovery using a USB drive, which should help resolve the problem. Please refer to the link provided for detailed instructions on how to complete the recovery process.

Hi @Ron22690

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I understand that the BIOS update is failing with error 259 through both HP Support Assistant and the normal BIOS update method. As the next step, please install the latest BIOS update using the official HP BIOS update link provided for your specific ZBook model https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers ;

Please revert if you receive the same error.

Take care and have an amazing day!

Hi Sir,

I have tried to download the driver several times using the autodetection and even I tried to install previous bios driver version. None of them are working... Only one error is returned when I launch the installation and allow to disable the W11 bitlocker manager:

"An error occured when flashing the firmware."

It shall be noted that the error message appears a second after the copying bar is just starting...

Tried bios drivers (all failed at same point):

sp172970

sp149387

sp152207

sp152206

Warm regards,
