Product: probook 450 g2
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)

Hi i have recently purchased 2 probook 450 g2 in an auction and both are locked with bios passwords. I need to be able to set up boot from USB in order to reinstall an OS onto the hard disk.

Hi:

 

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to help you, since HP will no longer supply the required SMC.bin file that is used to clear the BIOS password.

 

That was the only way it could be done.

Most HP business notebooks including the one you have, do not generate system disabled codes.

 

Also, removing the CMOS battery will not clear the P/W.
