Bluetooth on my notebook is not working, it's running (active) but it won't connect to anything.
It reads the TVs, reads phones (but not well shown), but it doesn't read my TWS at all where that is what I need most. Please you admin, or someone, help me. WiFi connection works very well.
My device is HP Elitebook 830 G8, Windows 11 26H2.
I hope you don't tell me something normal/common methods, I've tried 9999999999999999999999999 methods I found on google, AI, YouTube, this hub, etc. Please, please.

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
Thank you for laying out the symptoms so clearly. I understand the key point here: Bluetooth is enabled and can discover some TVs and phones, while the TWS earbuds are not detected at all, even though Wi-Fi works normally on the HP EliteBook 830 G8.
Since extensive standard Bluetooth troubleshooting has already been attempted, it makes sense to avoid repeating the usual toggle Bluetooth, reboot, and basic pairing steps.
I suggest concentrating on the HP-supported Bluetooth/WLAN driver stack and firmware instead.
1. Rebuild the Bluetooth driver using the HP package
- Open Device Manager.
- Expand Bluetooth and note the exact wireless/Bluetooth adapter listed there.
- Right-click the Bluetooth adapter and select Uninstall device.
- If Windows offers Attempt to remove the driver for this device, select it.
- Restart the notebook.
- Go to the HP EliteBook 830 G8 Software and Driver Downloads page.
- Select Windows 11 and the applicable version offered by HP.
- Under Driver-Network, install the HP-provided Bluetooth driver appropriate for the wireless adapter in the notebook.
- Restart once more before testing the TWS earbuds.
HP's support page specifically provides Windows 11 software and drivers for the EliteBook 830 G8.
2. Update the matching WLAN driver as well
Even though Wi-Fi is working correctly, I would also reinstall/update the HP-provided WLAN driver corresponding to the wireless adapter from the same Driver-Network section.
The Bluetooth and WLAN functions can belong to the same wireless hardware platform, so for this particular symptom I would not troubleshoot Bluetooth completely independently of the WLAN driver package.
3. Update the BIOS from HP
On the same HP driver page, check the BIOS section and compare the offered BIOS with the version installed on the notebook.
You can see the current BIOS version by pressing Fn + Esc in Windows to open HP System Information.
If HP provides a newer BIOS for the exact EliteBook 830 G8 configuration, install it with the AC adapter connected, restart the system, and test Bluetooth again.
4. Perform an HP hardware-level power reset
After the driver/BIOS work:
- Shut down Windows completely.
- Disconnect the AC adapter and external USB devices.
- Press and hold the power button for approximately 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the AC adapter.
- Start Windows.
- Put only the TWS earbuds into pairing mode and check whether they become discoverable.
One important point about Windows 11 26H2
The HP EliteBook 830 G8 support page currently lets you select Windows 11, but HP's page does not establish from the information shown there that every driver package has specifically been validated for the stated Windows 11 26H2 build. HP also notes that if an OS version is not listed, HP might not provide driver support for that OS version.
That makes the exact Bluetooth adapter and HP driver version particularly useful here.
If the TWS remains completely absent from discovery after the HP Bluetooth/WLAN driver rebuild and BIOS update, please post the Bluetooth adapter name and its Driver Version from Device Manager > Bluetooth > adapter > Properties > Driver. We can then narrow this down to the applicable HP driver rather than going through another round of general Bluetooth troubleshooting.
Take care, and have an amazing day!

I tried all the steps you encouraged. And these are what I found:
The first step, rebuild the BT driver: didn't change anything.
The second, update the WLAN driver: didn't change anything.
The third, update the BIOS version: my version is up to date (same as it appears on the HP driver's page)
The fourth, power reset: it helped for awhile with my TWS was discoverable, and connected, but it didn't play sound. I reconnected it many times, still. And after several times and tries (I kept reconnecting it), it went out and not discoverable as how it was before.
Now I am in the same situation as before.
Thank you for this optimistic solution, at least I know that this will soon be solved by experiencing different condition for a moment. Now I need more assistance.
BT Adapter: Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R)
Driver ver: 24.40.11.1

Thank you for coming back with the results and, especially, the adapter and driver information.
The fact that the power reset temporarily changed the behavior is useful. Your TWS became discoverable and connected, although audio did not play, and after repeated reconnections the earbuds stopped appearing again. Since the Bluetooth/WLAN driver reinstall and BIOS check have already been completed, I would not repeat those same steps.
Your notebook is reporting:
Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R)
Driver version: 24.40.11.1
HP does provide Windows 11 drivers for the HP EliteBook 830 G8 through its official driver page.
At this stage, I would like to separate a Bluetooth radio/discovery problem from a Windows audio-profile problem.
Please try one specific test:
- Shut down the notebook completely.
- Perform the same 15-second power reset that previously restored TWS discovery.
- Start Windows.
- Do not pair the earbuds immediately.
- Put the TWS into its full pairing/reset mode according to its manufacturer's procedure.
- Open Windows Bluetooth discovery and check whether the TWS appears.
- If it connects, immediately check Settings > System > Sound > Output and see whether the TWS appears as an available audio output device before disconnecting/reconnecting it again.
If the TWS connects but never appears under Sound > Output, that points us toward the Bluetooth audio side of the connection rather than basic discovery.
If possible, please also test one different Bluetooth audio device, such as another pair of Bluetooth headphones or a Bluetooth speaker. We do not need another TV or phone test because those have already established that the notebook can discover certain Bluetooth devices.
Please share only the result of that test:
- another Bluetooth audio device is detected and plays sound, or
- another Bluetooth audio device behaves exactly like the TWS.
That distinction will help us narrow the next step without taking you through another long list of common Bluetooth fixes.

I repeated 1 to 5, now it didn't appear at all.
I tried using another BT audio device that is JBL GO 2 (active speaker), it showed and connected quickly and normally, it also performed sound, but, it apparently made sound if the JBL is around 0-30 cm, when I move slowly, it didn't sound after >30 cm exactly.
Another fact is, I've never find "Windows Bluetooth Discovery" menu in setting since the first time, as every tutorials asked me to go to.
