Good morning.

 

I have this buzzing sound, when wanting to use FL Studio or to watch videos. This has increased over the past few days or so and is incredibly annoying.

 

It doesn't always happen, but I'm perplexed as to what the issue is.

 

I have tried the usual "fixes," but to no avail

 

In addition, I have had it hang when shutting down and one of the USB ports does not detect any device attached to it.

Hello,

do you use headphones or speakers to hear ? How are they connected (usb / blutooth ) ? What type of usb ports does your elitebook offers ? usb 2.0 / usb 3.0 / usb 3.1 ... ? Often, power cables are located near the headphone cables and this sometimes leads to electronic interference and of course your smartphone with mobile and/or wlan activated. Are you using a usb hub ? Try changing the connections.
