Even though the CPU supports CPPC, there is no option in the BIOS to enable the feature. (Running latest BIOS).

This feature would allow for better power management from the operating system.

Is there any way to enable this feature from an hidden menu, or are there any plans to include this feature in a future BIOS update?

Hello.

The same question was asked a year ago on this forum with zero answers...

If the setting is not there in BIOS, I would not expect HP to implement it in the future either. The laptop is already 4 years old and the BIOS will likely get only bug / compatibility / security fixes, no new features.

In any case, I found this post on Lenovo forums where a Lenovo personnel says that their engineers were recommended by AMD to not implement the feature for some reason. I would expect AMD to have told the same to HP engineers as well.

Yes, it would be good customer service if HP put out a technical bulletin why CPPC was not implemented, but there you go...
