HP Recommended

I have HP 255 15.6 inch G9 Notebook PC and wan to limit my battery charging to 80% since I am using it powered with AC for the most of the time. I was unable to find Battery care option in my firmware - have the latest version. Also I was unable to find HP power manager software in HP downloads for my laptop.

Hello.

 

The 80% setting is available on Elitebook/Probook/Zbooks, thin clients and some Elite tablets and Dragonflies. The HP Power Manager software is only available to these models.

 

HP 250/255 is not in the club, so you can't limit the charging.

 

You can use the HP Support Assistant to show the current capacity of your battery and calibrate it, but that's all I'm afraid. ☹️
