Today I tried to use HP Support Assistant the first time after having my Laptop for couple month.
There was an issue for the app to sign in and contact HP services.
The solution I got from the support was to use the legacy HP Support Assistant which worked well.
Then I tried to see if it's the same on another Laptop I have in another location.
After it worked there like a charm I tried to find the difference between the two locations.
It appears that on the location I couldn't sign in an use HP Support Assistant (9.x.y..) but could use the legacy version (8.x.y)
the family DNS of CloudFlare was used: 1.1.1.3, 1.0.0.3 ie from (https://cloudflare-dns.com/family/).
After replacing the local DNS to my local ISP and also flushing the dns cache from windows it worked like a charm.
I believe HP Should verify why and how to make it work with these DNS systems since the legacy version works fine.
What do you think?
