HP Elite x360 1040 14 inch G9 2-in-1 Notebook PC (4C056AV)

I bought an HP elite x360 1040 G9 laptop 11 months ago with 3 years care Pack warranty. There has been some short circuiting issue in the laptop and the screen has also cracked. The local distributor in Saudi Arabia has refused to entertain the warranty. Kindly guide in this matter.

I am guessing the local distributor is an independent contractor -- perhaps he has the right to take jobs as he decides.

 

Depending on the particular Care Pack, problems of the kind you describe might be included in the coverage.

 

What?

Care Packs come in different kinds -- what is covered in one contract might not be included in another.

 

What to do?

 

Submit a Warranty Repair request with HP Support.

Reminders - READ

Online Case Submission to HP Support is available to those whose devices registered and are still in Warranty.

 

Some regions display phone / chat contact information only after the case is submitted online

 

Not every issue is covered under the standard Hardware Warranty.  Purchased Care Pack Warranties differ by contract.

 

HP is not a "general" repair facility: Requests for out-of-warranty repairs are usually not accepted.

 

If the problem is hardware, if your device is in Warranty, if your device is Registered, and you cannot submit your case to Support, let us know and we will forward a request.
