That is an option. Did you buy WWAN option for your machine ? You can install one of the following parts to your machine to get Cellular option:
- HP lt4120 LTE/EVDO/HSPA+ SnapdragonT X5 LTE Mobile Broadband Module part # 800870-001
- HP hs31110 HSPA + Intel Mobile Broadband Module part # 822828-001
