Microsoft Windows 11

My daughter bought a brand new laptop from Best Buy 2 months ago. She has only used it 4 times. She went to use it for homework and it wouldn't boot up. Come to find out the charging cord is not working. I took it back to Best buy and they tell me that is isn't covered under any warranty. They test it and sure enough it is bad. They then sell me a new one for $65. I was very upset. I couldn't believe they wouldn't replace a cord that was bought 2 months prior. As far as I know it may have never worked. My daughter only used the laptop to create her log in for school. I have bought HP products in the past and for the most part I have had good results. I will not be buying anymore from here on out.

Hello Brandonwong820, how are you ?

If it was purchased in your home country, you can call HP and they can help you in this case.

As you went directly to the reseller, they got the information wrong and forgot to tell HP. They really have no way of responding to the equipment's standard warranty.
