Circle dots on screen, even when is off

Hi guys,

I have a HP Elitebook 840 G6 a year old and I facing an unusual issue. Actually I notice a circle made from 14 dots with size like a web camera somewhere on left down side of the screen. On the first look is like as Windows start-up circle dots, but is not.

First have more dots and second is not on the middle of bottom side of the screen and third and most importing is that remain on the screen even when the laptop is off.

It would be really helpful if you could clean your laptop screen so that we know what we are looking for.

Can you please do that thoroughly and re-post?

You mentioned dots on the left hand side but the image seems to show them centrally.

Also does the issue persist when you pull the battery from the laptop (following safe shutdown)?
