Client Security - Does Not Recognize Windows Password

HP Recommended
ZBook Firefly 15 G7 Mobile Workstation
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am unable to use HP Client Security on my new laptop. The first step is to enter my windows password but this is not recognised, although I know it is correct. Am logged in as Office365 administrator. The only on-line solution I can find seems to  involve disabling the software. Help please
