Trying to get support for a broken laptop, I am not getting any support, you log a case, phone the number and  hold to be connected then you get cut off.

the laptop is less than three months old and will not start up and trying to get support takes you around a virtual assistant that does not solve it, you try and talk to someone and get repeatedly cut off or yo7 register a call back but don’t get called back…

im very disappointed with the total lack of customer support so far.

This is a user to user forum.  If your system fails the UEFI diagnostics then return it if under warranty.

If it passes diagnostics but cannot boot windows or linux then you can possibly get help here.

  • Turn on the computer by holding the power button down for 20 full seconds then release.
  • Press the Power button one more time (if necessary) to start the computer.
  • Tap the ESC key about once a second after you see the LEDs on the keyboard flash.
  • Press F2 to run diagnostics: (v) 2.6 or later is recommended.

Hello @Nickmil

Sorry to hear about your experience.

Could you please let me know your product model and product number ? Here is how to find this information >> https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_2039298-1862169-16

May you be more specific what you mean by writing that the device did not start up ? What happens after you press the power-on button ? Is it that the entire PC is not starting, not showing signs of live even with the power adapter connected ? Or just Windows operating system not loading ?

Can you quickly check this article and see if it helps somehow >>
