Have an EliteBook 840 G5.

Bios insists on entering Secure Start at every boot. Takes a lo..ng time, without any explanation.

I have read, that you can turn it off in the BIOS, but I have now tried 3 BIOS versions, and there is no position to turn off Secure Start in any of them! (Ver. 26, 27 and 28)

What am I missing, or do I need to go a lot further back in version?

An older screendump found somewhere out there does show a chechbox right under the text "Secure Start" on that page under Security, but not on my laptop.

So where is it hidden?

I have enabled BIOS password!
