Does anyone know if there is a way to disable the sound volume bar that appears on the bottom of the screen?

 

It annoyingly appears every time I change the computer volume via the keyboard (fn-key command to be precise) and stays there for a few seconds.  My computer is a HP ProBook 650 G2.

I did a clean boot. The problem is now solved.
