Thunderbolt Dock
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi Community,

connecting a "HP EliteBook 845 G8" to an "HP Thunderbolt Dock 120 W G4" that has one or two "HP Z Display Z27q G3" Displays (connected via DP) i don't get any picture at all, Windows is not recognizing the screens.

I tried the following:

  • Connecting two HP 24" WUXGA Sceens everything works smoothly.
  • Connecting a Thunderbolt 4 Laptop everything works as suspected.
  • I already enabled "Enable "High Resolution mode when connected to a USB-C DP alt mode dock"" within the "BIOS"-Setting.

Any Ideas?

Regards,

SGSPA

I also tried the following combination without success:

  • HP EliteBook 845 G8
  • HP Thunderbolt Dock G2
  • HP Z Display Z27q G3 (via DP)

=> screens remain dark
