HP Elite Dragonfly G2 Notebook PC (25W59AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was enticed into buying a Dragonfly by the promises of its much vaunted phenomenal battery life. 22 hours they said.

I'm not naiive, I realise this would never actually happen but it is a good starting point.

With an i7 and UHD screen I hoped to be able to get 12-14 hours out of it. About what I got from my old Spectre.

I'm lucky to get 6 hours work out of the beast, down from about 7 hours when it was brand new.

I have tried everything I can think of to eke out extra time. I dug through all the registry hacks to make all the power options available and cranked them all down very low. Think of it as running in the battery-saver's battery-saver mode whilst running the screen on its lowest setting and not usually performing processor intensive work. I usually plug in when I want to do image editing and the like.

The most recent Battery Report give estimated Active Time on full charge as

Since OS install5:35:09

The battery is currently sitting at 87% of design capacity after 134 cycles.

Has anyone else run into this problem? Is all that promoted longevity just a shocking lie?

Any ideas for tweaks or profile changes that might fix things so I can get at least a full day's work out of it?

The trouble with ultrabooks is you can't even use them as boat anchors.
