HP ZBook 17 G5 Mobile Workstation
Microsoft Windows 11

I tried to find how to install eSIM but under  "network / mobile" option there is no other SIM option except physical SIM which I put in SIM slot inside Zbook 17 G5  and is currently connected to mobile operator. I want to install another eSIM profile but I not see any way to do it,  have somebody any experience with this kind of issue, please for help

WWAN card on your machine may not support eSIM. Please try the following solution

                  https://support.hp.com/th-en/document/c06295019

Your machine is ON the list

Regards.

Thank you very much for your reply, I checked list which you suggest and this ZBook 17 G5 (2ZC45ET) is there, I saw at device manager under events something like device has some problem, if you can review this and suggest where problem is and what to do. Many thanks.

Can you see WWAN card under Device Manager ? It should be one of the following 2

  • WWAN Macan ME906S LTE w/GPS M.2 part # 845710-003
  • WWAN HP IT4210 LTE/HSPA+ w/GPS M.2 part # L15398-001

(a) Uninstall it,

(b) Reboot,

(c) Download the right driver from   https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/hp-zbook-17-g5-mobile-workstation/18865648

(d) Reinstall it.

Hope this helps.

Your machine actually has an intel xmm 7360 lte-a. Sounds like it does NOT support eSIM
